Caledonia Robotics & RAD Drone Info Night + Open House

Date: Wednesday, April 23 2025

Location: Kraft Meadows Intermediate School (9230 Kraft Ave SE, Caledonia, MI 49316)

Time: 6:00pm-8:00pm. 

Info Sessions are scheduled as follows:  VEX GO @ 6:00pm, VEX IQ @ 6:30pm, VEX @ 7:00pm, RAD Drone @ 7:30pm

Families with students in grades 1-11, and interested community members, are invited to attend our annual Info Night and Open House! Each program's coordinator will lead an educational session where they will share details about the season, how to register and more. Use the remainder of your time to watch students from each of our programs show-off their skills as they demonstrate their drones and bots!



VEX GO 

The Caledonia VEX GO Robotics program is for students in grades 2-3. Teams meet from September-November or early December learning the fundamentals of STEM through engaging, hands-on activities. Students move through up to 4 levels of competitions, increasing in complexity in preparation for their season-ending competition where students work in pairs to obtain the highest score in a series of 3 matches. VEX IQ 

The Caledonia VEX IQ Robotics program is for students in grades 4-6. Teams of 5-8 students meet from August-January constructing  programming a VEX IQ Robot, while maintaining an Engineering Notebook, in preparation for Regional Competitions. For more information on the program, and to register, visit the VEX IQ website, or contact our VEX IQ Coordinators, Jill Arehart and Kristin Collins, via email

MS VEX Robotics

The Middle School VEX League Robotics program is for students in grades 7-8. Teams of 3-4 students meet from August-January at Kraft Meadows Middle School, constructing and programming a VEX Robot. Teams compete in matches against other teams in both League and Tournament play, in addition to participating in Skills competitions. HS VEX Robotics

The High School VEX League Robotics program is for students in grades 9-12. Teams of 3-4 students meet from August-February at Caledonia High School, constructing and programming a VEX Robot. Teams compete in matches against other teams in both League and Tournament play, in addition to participating in Skills competitions.
