Caledonia Community Theatre

Since 1992, the Caledonia Community Theatre, originally founded as the Caledonia Community Players, has brought quality entertainment to the Caledonia area. It began with a small group of theater enthusiasts, led by Sherry Stehouwer and Tom Kaechele, who produced their first play, The Little Red Schoolhouse, during the Fourth of July celebration in 1993. Since then, we have delighted audiences with comedies, dramas, musicals, and family-friendly productions for local schools and the broader community.

Caledonia Youth Theatre

The Caledonia Youth Theatre offers students a fantastic opportunity to experience the excitement of performing on stage and building confidence through the arts. Open to young actors from elementary through middle school, our programs foster creativity, teamwork, and skill development.

How to Participate

Students interested in participating must register through the Caledonia Resource Center. For more details and registration, visit caledoniayouththeatre.org.

Programs

• Caledonia Kids Theatre
  Open to students in grades 2-4 and KMIS students, this group performs at the end of January.

• Caledonia Middle School Players
  Open to students in grades 7-8, this group performs each April.

Caledonia Arts & Crafts Show - November 1, 2025

Be part of our annual Arts & Crafts Show, a beloved event for over 30 years, held every first Saturday in November. This show is a key fundraiser supporting our senior center, bringing together crafters and shoppers for a memorable day of creativity and community.

Our beautiful venue offers an inviting atmosphere, perfect for showcasing a variety of unique crafts and artwork.

Show Day
Join us on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., where over 500 visitors come to enjoy and shop from talented vendors. Admission and parking are free, and concessions will be available for a convenient shopping experience!

Vendor Registration
Craft show vendors, mark your calendars! Registration opens in January 2025. You can register online or by mailing in your application with a check. Don’t miss this chance to be part of a wonderful community event!

Take the trip of your dreams with us!  Traveling with a group is easy, fun and stress free!  We have many destinations offered for you to choose from.  Don't see what you are looking for? Just ask us!  We can help you find that perfect vacation! Everyone is welcome on any of our trips!  You do not need to be a Caledonia resident to join us!  Call to register for your favorite trip today at 616-891-8117.  These trips are open to all adults.  There are no age restrictions. The commission earned on these trips helps support our senior center.  Take a vacation with us and help support our program!
